Things To Do in Portadown
This might be interesting for someone living in Portadown, County Armagh, who might have missed something, who used to live in the town or who plans to visit the town. There are many restaurants in Portadown as well. Portadown tourism is great as there are so many things to do in and outside, including fun activities for the kids, adults and children. One of the most popular annual events is Country Come to Town.
Portadown Town Centre
The town centre has lots of Portadown shops along High Street, including one of the oldest Cordners Shoes, which has been there since I can remember and also off the main street along Edward Street in Portadown, Thomas Street, Woodhouse Street and William Street, where the Millennium Court is located where there are many exhibitions on show. There are two shopping centres in town, High Street Mall and Meadows Shopping Centre. This is a series of black-and-white photos in Portadown. Also, watch the video I filmed too.

Country Comes To Town
Country Comes To Town Portadown Photos and Videos of the Animals, Vintage Cars and Country Music, looking forward to 2023. Looking forward to Country Comes to Town 2023 in Portadown this year, which promises to be similar and hopefully better than previous years. This year, you'll hear plenty of country music as well as plenty of stalls along the high street in the centre of Portadown. Also, I’m sure there’ll be plenty of kids' activities too with some farm animals.

Joe Macs Portadown
Joe Macs Portadown is a pub and food establishment in the town. I’ve been here a few times over the years for both food and drink, and I must say the steak is lovely on the menu; the burgers are great, too. There is some live entertainment on at the weekends at Mac's Bar. The bar itself isn’t that big and not too small, but just about the right size. Joe Macs in Portadown is worth a visit, too, as well as many other establishments in the town. One of the many fab musicians used to be Juram Gavero, whose music business is called Juram Music.

River Bann Portadown
The River Bann in Portadown runs underneath the Bann Bridge, which you can drive over from Bridge Street's end of town. It’s a great river for fishing, canoeing, jet skiing, picnicking and barbecuing with the family. There are always plenty of walkers along the path enjoying the views. Also, check out below my River Bann Videos I have filmed, including people out canoeing, kayaking and people just for a walk along the Bann Bridge and River Bann in Portadown. Filmed either with my camera equipment or drone footage, which you can view below or on my YouTube channel.

More things to do in Portadown
Ardress House in Portadown, as there was a free National Trust open day on this day, so I decided to explore the house a little. To gain further understanding of when the house was built and its history, have a read through the council's website. I wasn’t here that long, but there was an old farm beside the house and apple orchards, too, so I took a walk around the house and ended up inside. The place is fascinating from start to finish and is one for further exploration in the future.
Loughgall Park
I was only here for a brief period, but the park offers many great spots for walking, keeping fit as well as fishing too as there are several jetties at Loughgall Lake, and as you’d expect with the local community in Loughgall, County Armagh is quite popular. I started at the map close to the golf course, then took a walk around the lake but couldn’t see anyone fishing. I also filmed some video footage while here.
Abandoned Buildings and Abandoned Places
Abandoned buildings in Portadown and abandoned places, which I have explored with my camera mostly during one of the lockdowns in Portadown. Unfortunately, due to how unsafe these derelict buildings could be, I will NOT be giving out any information, and to be honest, I probably can’t remember them anyway. I explored a small range of old abandoned buildings in NI, from old houses in the countryside to old abandoned farmhouses.
